General information
A necessary condition for the world-class level of development of the state at the present stage is associated with the widespread implementation of the state energy saving policy and various measures for the efficient use of energy resources in all sectors of the national economy.
Building an energy management structure and using the latest energy saving technologies are a single system for bringing Ukraine to a new, modern level of efficient consumption of energy resources. The development of such measures and solutions and the effective implementation of energy-saving technologies requires the training of specialists capable of implementing energy saving measures at a high professional level to modernize modern industries, create competitive high-tech technologies, and conduct the latest scientific research.
Mykolaiv region belongs to the industrially developed regions of Ukraine, is the leading industrial part of the state with a large population. It has the status of a large multifunctional administrative, scientific, economic and cultural region and is characterized by a powerful, diversified industry, which occupies an important place in the structure of the country's national economic complex.
Promising areas of development of the region are not only the traditionally known shipbuilding and machine-building plants, but also many municipal and private enterprises of the energy sector, which require the introduction of energy-saving technologies and equipment.
In the new socio-economic conditions, these enterprises can be competitive only if such technologies are developed, which is impossible without the participation of energy management specialists.

Shipbuilding has long been considered one of the priority industries in every country. A necessary condition for the world-class development of the state at the present stage is associated with the development of shipbuilding and marine infrastructure.
The rapid development of sea and river ports in southern Ukraine, caused by favorable geographical conditions, opens up opportunities for Ukraine to emerge and consolidate at the world level in sea and river trade transportation.
On the other hand, the current state of shipbuilding and marine infrastructure requires an urgent resolution of issues regarding the restructuring and re-equipment of their main facilities, which is associated with the scientific and technical foundations of Ukraine's development in the status of a maritime state, the rational use of natural resources and their restoration using economic mechanisms.
