On November 26, at the initiative of the Research Department of the Tavriya Region and Crimea, a round table " Development of transport infrastructure as a driver of socio-economic development of the South of Ukraine " was held in Kherson. The Kherson State Maritime Academy and the Science Park at the CDMA acted as co-organizers of the round table. This is the first event under the Memorandum of Understanding between NISS and CDMA.

Representatives of government, local government, business and science took part in the round table. Given that the event was attended by leading universities in the region: Kherson National Technical University, Kherson State University, Kherson State Agrarian University, National University of Shipbuilding. Makarov, and co-organizer of the event - Kherson State Maritime Academy, the main focus was on the speeches of researchers and scientists.
